About Teacups and Madness

Teacups and Madness is a semi-personal blog that details my experiences with Lolita fashion, sewing, crafting, life, and the occasional bout of madness. Most of what you'll find within the pages of this blog has to do with my Lolita sewing and crafting projects, opinions on topics in the fashion, local meetup coverage, brand releases, lifestyle posts, and my on-going obsession with berry motifs. While I generally prefer to focus a lot more on the "teacups" part of my life than the "madness" component,  readers should also expect occasional, aperiodic posts relating to depression, anxiety spectrum disorders and mental health awareness. Because these issues are a major part of my life and something that I'm  fairly open about, I do talk about them here. If you're put off by such 'indelicate' topics, you may want to read elsewhere, or just be prepared to skip over posts that are tagged as "personal" or "mental health." In blogging here about my struggles with depression, I don't want to do anything extraordinary or make it seem like I'm another 'special snowflake' in an already attention-getting fashion; I just want to get things off my chest from time to time and have an outlet for when things get unpleasant.
